1. Acceptance of terms
By using Instagram Transcript, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
The service turns public Instagram video links into searchable, timestamped text and optional exports. It is a web tool designed for a global audience. Features, payment methods, and availability may vary by location.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. Keep your credentials secure and remain responsible for activity under your account.
4. Public Instagram content
You may submit only public content that you have the legal right to process. You must not submit private, deleted, login-only, or access-controlled content, and you must not provide Instagram credentials or ask us to bypass restrictions.
5. Credits and subscriptions
Credits are charged by transcript duration, rounded up to the next whole minute. Credits cannot be transferred between accounts and expire according to the package shown at checkout; unused credits do not roll over unless expressly stated.
Monthly and annual subscriptions provide the displayed credit allowance and automatically renew at the displayed price and interval until cancelled.
6. Payments, renewal, and cancellation
The payment provider processes the charge and may require its own terms or verification. The actual annual total is shown before purchase. Cancel from billing settings before the next renewal to stop future charges. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current period.
7. Refunds
Our Refund Policy allows a request within seven days of purchase or renewal when no credits from that package have been used. Duplicate charges, verified technical failures, and mandatory consumer rights are handled as described there.
8. User responsibilities
Use the service lawfully, respect creators' rights and platform terms, and verify any generated text against the original video before publishing or relying on it.
9. Prohibited activities
Do not bypass access controls; bulk scrape or overload the service; interfere with security; infringe copyright or privacy; reverse engineer or resell the service; submit unlawful material; or use transcripts for fraud, harassment, or other illegal purposes.
10. Intellectual property
You retain rights in content you lawfully submit. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the requested service. The service interface, software, branding, and documentation remain protected by their respective owners. Instagram and Meta trademarks belong to their owners.
11. AI and accuracy limitations
Transcripts can contain omissions, punctuation errors, speaker-attribution errors, or incorrect words. They are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, accessibility, or safety advice. Check the original audio for important decisions.
12. Third-party platforms
Instagram and external providers are independent services. We do not control their availability, policies, or content, and Instagram Transcript is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram or Meta.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, unlawful use, non-payment, security risk, or material breach. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Deletion removes account-linked data subject to legally required records.
14. Disclaimer
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular accuracy level, or that every public URL will remain accessible.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or your mandatory consumer rights.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the applicable law for the relationship between you and the operator, without excluding mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction will hear disputes; no term requires arbitration where prohibited by law.
